Autopilot PX2

More powerful, more reliable, more capable

The Autopilot PX2 Advanced Lighting Controller allows you to accurately manage the photoperiod of 512 fixtures in two independently controlled zones, from a centralized location. Designed to work with any controllable Phantom, Core HID fixtures as well as PHOTOBIO LED fixtures, the PX2 can drive 512 digital HID fixtures (256 per zone) or 100 analog LED fixtures (50 per zone). The PX2 offers the flexibility to operate both analog and digital zones, or one analog and one digital zone. With this versatility, the “dual-zone” configuration allows growers

• Optimize spectral treatments by combining different lighting technologies in the same crop (for example: HPS with CMH, LED with CMH).
• Save energy by combining the same devices, reducing the output power to one of the zones during the light cycle in the same environment.
• Alternate rows and zones in the same environment.
• Improve uniformity, through independent control of the perimeter zone compared to the interior zone of the crop.

Advanced features, precise and independent controls

The PX2 provides independent control of the following features in each of its dual zones:

• Photoperiod timer to control light and dark cycles.
• Precise control of the flow of photosynthetic photons in relation to the PPF emitted by the fixtures during the light cycle (power in watts or percentage).
• Automatic adjustment when temperature exceeds selected levels.
• Automatic emergency shutdown if established over-temperature levels are exceeded.
• Configurable re-ignition time, to protect the lamp from hot starts.
• Sunrise/sunset simulation settings, to achieve a gradual rise and fall at both ends of the photoperiod.
• Built-in backup battery.
• Voltage: 100–240V 50/60Hz 0.3 Amps.

Two temperature sensors, one for each zone

They provide data in real time for automatic regulation when the established limits are exceeded, as well as automatic shutdown in the event of overtemperature, to protect the crop. The Autopilot PX2 eliminates electrical inrush currents and replaces classic contactors, reducing investment in infrastructure.
